KPSC Departmental Exam 2012 First Session Notification Published at News Bird http://jobs.newsbird.in. Karnataka Public Service Commission invites online applications employees of Karnataka Government Departments to appear for Departmental Exams 2012 Session I for the purpose of getting eligibility for promotion & hike in salary. This is only for government employees who are eligible to take the exam. If you are not sure about this please contact your seniors / Superior authority for more details. (http://kpsc.kar.nic.in)
Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) Conducts Departmental Exams twice every year. The Departmental Exam will be conducted for various subjects. The Departmental Exams will be conducted in the month of June / July & December / January every year. Candidates can choose maximum of six subjects in one session. The question paper varies for different subjects. For some subjects question paper will be objective type multiple choice while some other papers will be descriptive type. The First Session of Departmental Exam 2012 will commence from 16-06-2012 & continues till 05-07-2012.

Departmental Exam 2012 Session – I Notification
KPSC Departmental Exam Center : The KPSC Departmental Exams will be conducted at all District Head quarters. However Candidates should choose the district centers where they are currently posted / Working. (The request for change of Exam center is entertained only in special cases. Refer Detailed Notification for more details.)
KPSC Departmental Exam Fees : Fees varies from candidate to candidate based on the subjects they choose. Some subject carry exam fees of Rs. 50/- each & some other subjects carry Rs.100/-. So based on the subjects a candidates selects to appear the fee will be calculated & printed on the challan. The fee should be paid at any branch of Syndicate Bank.

- Last date to Apply Online for KPSC Departmental Exams : 25-04-2012. upto 5.30 PM
- Last date to Pay fees : 28-04-2012.
- Last date to submit request for change of Exam center : 02-06-2012
- Date of KPSC Departmental Exam : 16-06-2012 to 05-07-2012
