CISF Recruitment of Constables (GD) 2012. Police Jobs Details Published at News Bird http://jobs.newsbird.in. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Constables (General Duty) (Male/Female) under Special Recruitment Drive in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. The recruitment will be done through Recruitment Rally to be conducted from 15-03-2012 to 31-03-2012 at Commandant, CISF Units located at Jyothipuram, Uri, Dulhasti. The Recruitment Rules, Job Requirements & Eligibility Qualifications are provided below.
Central Industrial Security Force came into existence in 1969 to provide Security to Industrial establishments, Factories of Public Sector Units. In these 40 years CISF has grown as multi-skilled security agency of the country. Now CISF provides security for both government as well as private sector units against terrorism threats. The CISF is currently providing security cover to nuclear installations, Space Establishments, Airports, seaports, power plants, sensitive Government buildings and heritage monuments. Among the important responsibilities recently entrusted to the CISF are the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, VIP Security, Disaster Management and establishment of a Formed Police Unit (FPU) of the UN at Haiti. With this CISF has developed as a full fledged armed security agency. To expand it’s strength, CISF is conducting Recruitment Rally in Jammu & Kashmir to recruit 456 General Duty Constables.

Pay Scale / Salary : Rs. Pay Band I Rs.5200-20200 + Grade pay Rs 2000/- + allowances
